ACTIVITIES FUNDED UNDER ERASMUS+
Individuals and organizations from all over the world can apply for Erasmus+, while eligibility varies from one activity to the next and from one nation to the next. As a result, the terms of admission to the programme are tied to these two actors: "participants" (individuals who take part in the programme) and "participating organizations." The Key Activities/Programs that are funded under Erasmus+ are:
* Key Action 1: Individual Learning Mobility
This Action, which is the largest in Erasmus+, aims to provide individuals with opportunity to improve their skills, increase their employability, and gain cultural understanding. Staff and learners can participate in mobility programmes that provide structured study, work experience, job shadowing, volunteering, training, and teaching opportunities.
* Key Action 2: Collaboration in the Interest of Innovation and Exchange of Best Practices
The projects financed under this Key Action focus on sharing, developing, and transferring innovative practices in education, training, and youth provision between participating countries, as this Key Action is all about enabling organizations to work together.
* Key Action 3: Support for Policy Reform
This Key Action encompasses all activities that support policy reform in the domains of education, training, and youth, with a focus on education and training system modernization. The European Commission implements them directly or through specialized calls for proposals coordinated by the Executive Agency.
* Key Action 4: Jean Monnet
The activities are intended to encourage quality in teaching and research in the field of EU studies around the world, primarily with the goal of fostering communication between academics and policymakers. The efforts of Jean Monnet are limited to higher education.
Students, staff, trainees, teachers, volunteers, and others benefit from Erasmus+. It provides students with the opportunity to study or work in a different European country while completing their degree. It's not just about Europe or Europeans, either: Erasmus+ provides possibilities to people from all around the world.
