COMMONWEALTH MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIPS

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the United Kingdom (UK) offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships, including:

* Commonwealth PhD Scholarships

* Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships

* Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships

Each year, scholarships are awarded to students from Commonwealth nations with low and intermediate incomes who otherwise would not be able to afford to study in the UK. Candidates are chosen based on their previous academic achievements as well as their ability to contribute to the development of a better living for people in their home countries.

Commonwealth Master's Scholarships are available to students from low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations who wish to pursue a full-time taught Master's degree at a UK university.

Commonwealth Master's Scholarships, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), enable outstanding and motivated students to achieve the knowledge and skills essential for sustainable development, and are aimed at people who would not be able to study in the UK otherwise. These scholarships are available in six different development themes:

* Science and technology for development

* Strengthening health systems and capacity

* Promoting global prosperity

* Strengthening global peace, security and governance

* Strengthening resilience and response to crises

* Access, inclusion and opportunity

The CSC will notify all Commonwealth Masters applicants who have been successfully nominated by their nominating agency of the results of their application by the end of July 2021.
