EDISU PIEMONTE SCHOLARSHIPS AND ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
EDISU Piemonte, the Regional Agency for the Right to University Education of Piemonte, works within the context of the competencies linked to the right to academic studies granted by Italian law to the State, Regions, and Universities. It also aims to encourage the enrollment and attendance of deserving students who are unable to pay for their education.
EDISU supports student attendance and life through the following advantages, which are awarded through a public competition:
* Accommodation service:
It provides lodging in one of the EDISU halls of residents in Turin and other Piemonte cities with university branches, as determined by a competition. The given accommodation is not chosen by students enrolled in any Piemonte University, but is assigned based on a ranking list derived from a public competition.
* Scholarships:
It is a sum of money awarded to students enrolled at any Piemonte University through a competition and paid out in two installments.
Students who wish to apply for a scholarship or accommodation must do so by the date indicated in the Edisu Call, which is issued each year.
Non-EU international students studying full-time in a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Single Cycle Master's degree, or PhD degree programme at one of Piedmont's universities (i.e. Politecnico di Torino, University of Torino, University of Eastern Piedmont) can apply for EDISU scholarships if they meet the competition's merit and financial conditions. Part-time students who are enrolled in a bachelor's degree programme are eligible to apply. The scholarship amount is determined by a number of factors. Non-resident students may also be provided with housing services.
