Changes had been introduced regarding foreign policies and those who want to settle abroad after studies. To receive a visa, they will have to find work in a profession that is important to their education, with a wage that others consider impossible to attain in this economic setting. Although domestic students strive to do the same, it can be daunting to those who have settled whilst studying in the world. It's a shame because so many students enjoy the area they’re studying in and want to live there; particularly if the area is a lively city.

Currently, that seems to change with the Home Office issuing a Declaration of Intent, suggesting that the government is adjusting its perspective. Nevertheless, the question remains for foreign students preparing to finish their course over the next few months before anything is confirmed; they also face the daunting challenge of obtaining a wage normally reserved for someone with several years of experience. It is of course yet another challenge that has been applied to the final year's job. But what can foreign students do to make their career opportunities better?

For win every position or appointment it is important to provide up-to - date references. When a potential employer can not immediately reach out to others to vouch for you, they will not go to the trouble of further investigating your application. It may be especially challenging for foreign students in another country who depend on referees, where there could be a contact breakdown. The remedy is to maintain friendly ties with everyone you encountered when you were training. Those could be tutors you've built a strong friendship with, or your part-time boss. Whenever needed, contact the tutors in working hours, instead of crying in isolation over a question you have.

When you have finished, internships have already been widely debated as essential to search for jobs. It is a wonderful opportunity to be successful and to add to the CV. Look for internships, placements, or schemes specific to your career goals. Sometimes, drive yourself with a combination of students to join the societies and conferences. You'll definitely be the most important person in the school as an foreign student. Occasionally, when you need to speak to someone of a common experience, it is great to have friends from your own country; but find the right balance.
