Bulgaria’s new Prime Minister, Nickolay Denkov, said that his cabinet will work so the country’s accession to the borderless area of Schengen to be finalised by the end of this year.

He said that his cabinet will work towards systematic changes when it comes to border control management, and also towards a low state budget deficit and reduce measures of inflation, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

The Prime Minister also said that he will start a “campaign against the disinformation around Bulgaria’s adoption of the euro”.
