CBS joins European collaboration on online subject offerings

CBS joins forces with 7 other top European universities and business schools to create a common, online education network.
The name is ECOL - European Common Online Learning network, and the goal is to innovate and strengthen the students' experiences with distance learning through a common, European collaboration with space for different approaches to teaching and learning.
ECOL wants to contribute to the European education system by creating a common online curriculum and curriculum that can be expanded and developed over time. Students from the participating universities have the opportunity to take selected online electives and thus get a unique international experience from home.
The participating universities and business schools in ECOL are:
* Aalto University Business School
* Bocconi University
* Copenhagen Business School
* Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management
* Esade Business School
* HEC Paris
* University of St. Gallen
* WU Vienna University of Economics and Business
CBS 'Dean of Education Gregor Halff recently had the opportunity to meet with the deans of the other ECOL institutions to discuss what the corona crisis has taught them, the role of higher education institutions in meeting the EU's principles and goals of innovation , digitalisation, sustainability and inclusion, and not least the benefits of European integration of subjects and teaching. CBS students can see which ECOL subjects they have the opportunity to take in the autumn semester 2021 at my.cbs.dk , and can register for the subjects in the upcoming elective round 8 to 15 June.
