Czech Republic to Partially Renew Visa Services in Bogota & Nur Sultan From Next Week
In a chain reopening of its Embassies, Consulates and Visa Application Centres abroad, the Czech Republic has announced that it will soon renew its visa services in two new locations – in Bogota, Colombia and Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
The decision has been announced through a notice published by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after both have been closed for months now, due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the world.
“Providing visa services to the public will again be partially resumed on September 7 at the Czech Embassy in Nur-Sultan September 8, 2020, in Bogota,” the notice reads, pointing out that services will not be offered for all types of visas, mainly due to entry bans remaining in place in the Czech Republic.
Currently, only a limited category on non-EU travellers are permitted to enter Czechia, due to the ongoing pandemic, and in many countries, the rising levels of infections.
The only third-country residents permitted to enter the Czech territory are those living in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Thailand, Tunisia, South Korea and Japan, which are considered to be epidemiologically safe.
