Exclusive: VAT policy may cut British boarding school int’l recruitment by 28%
International student recruitment into British boarding schools could decline by as much as 28% in September 2025, as a result of the VAT imposed on independent schools.According to a survey by the British Boarding Schools’ Network of its approved agents around the world – which has been exclusively shared with The PIE News – the drop would represent a decline of 7,335 pupils.
