First place graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged in the ranking of universities offering legal courses in HVG 2022

At the top of the podium is the legal education in Szeged - the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged leads the ranking of the universities offering legal education in HVG 2022, compiled on the basis of teacher excellence.

The HVG 2022 higher education ranking includes 8 faculties with legal training. The Faculty of Political Science and Law of the University of Szeged ranks first in terms of student excellence, ranking fifth in terms of student excellence among the 8 institutions examined. The SZTE ÁJTK improved its places by three places compared to the ranking of universities offering legal training in HVG 2021, so it finished in the first place this year.

The city on the banks of the Tisza has the highest proportion of lecturers with an MTA title. In numbers, this represents almost 6%. The proportion of lecturers with an academic degree is close to 84%. The ranking was compiled from faculties where at least 30% of full-time students study in a given field of study.

Since 2006, the ranking has been compiled from the student and faculty sub-rankings this year as well. The authors of the HVG ranking of higher education have taken into account a number of aspects. These were, for example, the number of first-time applicants, the average score of those admitted, the proportion of those admitted to the language exam, the number of students admitted to the study competition, the number and proportion of lecturers with an academic degree, the number of students per academic proportion of instructors with a title.
