Five Latvian universities ranked in the THE Impact Rankings 2021

Five Latvian universities – The University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, Riga Stradi?š University, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies and Liepaja University – are ranked in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2021, released on the 21st of April 2021.

THE University Impact Rankings show how the global higher education sector is working towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)*. It captures universities’ impact on society based on institutions’ success in delivering the 17 SDGs, reflecting work done and highlighting significant endeavors that are not rated in rankings of other classifications, providing comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas - research, stewardship, outreach, and teaching.
