FOUR NEW MOMENTUM RESEARCH GROUPS MAY BE FORMED AT ELTE
This year's call for the Momentum Program received 102 valid applications, 16 from the humanities and social sciences, 34 from the life sciences and 52 from the mathematics and natural sciences. Based on the expert evaluations, the proposal of the Momentum Jury and the Momentum Committee, the President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences decided on 10 June on the ranking of the research groups to be supported and the amounts of funding.
In 2022, 19 new Momentum research groups can be formed and start their research in Hungarian research sites in 2022 with the support of the Academy. Four of the young researchers at Eötvös Loránd University have received funding, all of whom are now starting their research.
