The new House of AI, Mondai, officially opened its doors on the TU Delft Campus on Thursday. In Mondai, science, education and innovation in AI will come together through a programming of lectures, workshops, hackathons and other events. Students, alumni, scientists, professionals and interested public are welcome. Mondai is also the first Convergence Square in Delft: where the collaboration between TU Delft, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Erasmus MC, Leiden University and LUMC can take place.

Mondai is Japanese for 'question' or 'problem'. The aim is to connect parties in an accessible way and in this way to stimulate innovation, capitalize on economic opportunities and contribute to social challenges and problems. Think, for example, of inspiration sessions for SMEs, where companies and organizations are helped with how they can use AI in a good way to realize a project or answer a question.
