Participation in the EUROSTUDENT VII International Survey

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport has joined the implementation of an international survey, the EUROSTUDENT VII – Social and Economic Conditions of Student Life in Europe. Students have been able to participate in the survey since April. At the initiative and proposal of the Ministry, the University of Maribor has decided to assist in the implementation of the survey.

The purpose of the survey is to provide an insight into the social and economic background as well as into other characteristics of the student population in Slovenia, thus identifying problems and obstacles students encounter during studies.

The survey is aimed at collecting data that will enable comparison of the social and economic conditions of students' life in Slovenia with those in other European countries, and serve as the basis in developing national strategies and policies for the improvement of higher education in Slovenia.
