Royal Holloway and Study Group sign 10 year partnership extension
Royal Holloway University of London and Study Group have renewed the partnership between the two institutions for a 10-year period.
In 2011 Royal Holloway and Study Group set up a partnership to offer various pathway programmes to allow international students to have access to degree level studies at the university.
According to the university, the success of the partnership has driven them to extend their partnership for another 10 years.
In September, Global Education Times reported that 16 universities in the UK had agreed to accept online delivery of Study Group programmes throughout 2021.
Royal Holloway and Study Group an ‘evolving’ collaboration
The partnership between the two institutions is seen as evolving over time and has led to a transformation in the development of the course and its delivery and has also introduced International Year One programmes.
The International Year One programmes are in the following areas: Economics and Electronic Engineering, Business and Management and Computer Science.
This programme also provides online pre-sessional English Language summer courses and will help students integrate completely with student life at the university.
Pre-Masters programme set for launch in March 2021
In March next year, Study Group and Royal Holloway are set to launch a Pre-Masters Programme intake and this will include four new academic pathway options: Economics, Business and Management, Electronic Engineering and Information Security, Computer Science and Social Science, and Arts and Humanities.
This programme will allow international students to progress to a variety of postgraduate courses at Royal Holloway University of London.
Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, Royal Holloway and Study Group have collaborated to meet the needs of international students and have launched a new optional English Language Module. This will allow direct entry to undergraduate students who are coming from outside the U.K the flexibility to begin their programme in January 2021.
James Pitman, Managing Director for UK and Europe at Study Group, said: “We are extremely pleased to have renewed our contract with Royal Holloway, University of London, for a further 10 years.
“As a result of this strong and enduring partnership, international students have been able to achieve their academic goals and progress to study prestigious and high-ranking undergraduate programmes at Royal Holloway, in a diverse variety of disciplines, from Economics and Engineering, through to arts-based subjects, such as English Literature, Film and Music.
“We look forward to continuing to collaborate with Royal Holloway, to innovate programme development and delivery, driving successful student outcomes.”
