Switzerland still popular with overseas students despite Covid

International students are still coming to Switzerland – a popular destination for overseas students - despite the coronavirus pandemic. So why are students still interested in going abroad during the pandemic? “One thing that does not change is these international students’ motivation to get outside of their comfort zone and come to study in Switzerland,” ESN Switzerland president Dana Mozaffari said. Courses may be online, but the overseas student experience is also about discovering the country and its culture. They also contribute to the country’s academic internationalization, a “top strategic priority within the Swiss Higher Education sector”, added Mozaffari.
