The course begins on September 13 with the prevention measures against Covid-19 approved by the Ministries of Health and Universities
The 2021-22 academic year will begin on September 13 following the protection measures currently in force, approved on July 16 by the Public Health Commission and which are included in the document “Prevention, Hygiene and Health Promotion Measures against COVID-19 for university centers ” . These guidelines modified the safety distance, which becomes 1.2 meters, which will increase the capacity of the classrooms above 50%. (ie, the measure that allows greater attendance will be applied: a capacity of 50% or a distance of 1.2 meters). In this way, in some centers or groups a practically total presence could be reached.
Consequently, at this time, the contingency plans approved by the different centers are extended , which specify the measures applicable in each of them based on their particular conditions, always respecting what is indicated in the previous paragraph.
On the other hand, and taking into account the change in the situation regarding the percentage of vaccinated people among the members of the university community compared to the situation in July, the Andalusian rectors and rectors, as well as the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, meeting last week, have asked the health authorities for greater flexibility in security measures that allow them to have the greatest possible presence in the classrooms. If this occurs, the corresponding adaptations in the contingency plans would be carried out immediately.
