The UB is among the best in the world in 35 disciplines in the Shanghai ranking

The UB is among the best universities in the world in 35 of the 54 scientific areas analyzed by the Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2022 . In six of the subjects analyzed, the UB is among the top 100 in the world: Physics, Human Biology, Agricultural Sciences, Clinical Medicine, Public Health and Nursing.

The UB occupies a particularly prominent position in Clinical Medicine, with the 45th place worldwide. In Agricultural Sciences and Human Biology, it is ranked among the top 75 centers in the world. There has been an advance of positions in the case of Human Biology and Education with respect to previous editions.

According to the results of the new ranking, the UB is the state leader in ten disciplines. Specifically, it is the leader alone in Human Biology, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Technology. It has shared leadership with other State institutions in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics, Engineering and Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Education and Psychology.
