The University of Turku joins the EU's new large-scale solar energy initiative

The SUNER-C initiative will strengthen the European RDI community for solar fuels and chemicals. The University of Turku is the only Finnish university participating in the program.
The EU has provided € 4 million in funding for the SUNER-C (SUNERGY Community and eco-system for the Accelerating Development of Solar Fuels and Chemicals) initiative to boost innovation in solar fuels and chemicals in Europe. The initiative is Horizon European Coordination and Support Action (CSA).
The SUNER-C consortium includes 31 organizations from different sectors and across the EU. The University of Turku is one of the partners in the consortium program.
