TUM aid programs for people affected by the war in Ukraine- Call for donations for students and scholarships for researchers
The war in Ukraine has brought misfortune to countless people. At the Technical University of Munich (TUM), we show solidarity with those affected and are therefore setting up two of our own aid programs. These are aimed at researchers from Ukraine and affected TUM students.
University President Prof. Thomas F. Hofmann emphasizes: "As a sign of international understanding and solidarity, we as a university community would like to support students who have been cut off from their homeland and are therefore calling for donations!" This is intended to help young people to meet the burden of living and rent dampen
In doing so, TUM builds on the solidarity of its community and asks its members, partners and friends to donate money as much as possible. The aim is to help the affected students to successfully complete their studies at TUM. "We want the students to experience solidarity and cross-border friendship and thus make our contribution to ensuring that they stand up for a better future without war and misanthropy."
