VFS Global to Open Lithuanian Passport and ID Application Centre in UK
Lithuanian nationals living in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland can now apply for their passports and IDs at the VFS Global facilities in London and Edinburgh.
The Lithuanian Embassy in London, the UK, has outsourced processing of applications for passport and IDs for citizens of Lithuania residing in the UK, to VFS global, which is an outsourcing and technology services company that serves governments and diplomatic missions in terms of visa and documents’ application processing.
“VFS Global has launched the Lithuanian Passport and ID Application Centre in London and Edinburgh, as an extension to its visa application services, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. The two centres will accept first applications for a Lithuanian passport and ID card, as well as applications for renewals,” the press release reads.
In the occasion, the Head of Business Development for VFS Global, Chris Dix pointed out that the VFS Global has enjoyed a long association with the government of Lithuania, showing his delight for the extension of this partnership to include passport and ID card services in the UK.
The centre in London is located at 66 Wilson Street, London, EC2A 2BT and will be open from 9 am to 4 pm every weekday, whereas the one in Edinburgh is located at 1 Rennie’s Isle, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6QT and will operate from 9 am to 5 pm.
