Welcome to the training program "Conflict Mediation"

The aim of the training program “Conflict Mediation” is to develop the ability of managers and specialists in various fields to manage interpersonal, intergroup, etc. impartially in their professional environment. Conflicts through a mediation approach that encourages the parties to the conflict to seek agreement and / or decision. Mediation helps to manage conflicts and reach an agreement with a mediator when the parties to the conflict fail to do so on their own.
During the training, participants will get acquainted with the principles of mediation, learn to apply the techniques used in mediation in resolving conflict situations in their professional environment.
Managers and specialists in various fields (psychosocial services, education sector, public service, business, etc.) who face interpersonal and intergroup conflicts in their work and want to learn the method of conflict mediation are invited to study.
Scope of training: 60 academic hours.
Upon completion of the program, participants will be issued a certificate certifying the acquired knowledge and skills registered at Vytautas Magnus University.
Training dates and structure: The training program emphasizes the development of practical skills, analyzes cases from the work experience of the training participants, organizes supervision.
* 2022 February 18 - Training Day I: Introduction to the method of conflict mediation.
* 2022 February 25 - Training Day II: Mediation Process and Tools
* 2022 February 26 - Training day III: Discussion of the possibilities of applying mediation in the professional environment of training participants and development of practical mediation skills.
* 2022 March 18 - Training Day IV: Supervision / Discussion of Experiences.
Training price: 350 euros
Training location: training will take place remotely, from 9:00 to 18:00.
